It's Monday, what are you reading? Is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila over at One Persons Journey Through a World of Books.

This month is just flying by so quickly! Not to mention all the other things going on in my personal life. That doesn't leave very much time for completing my challenge as I had hoped. But like they say, you gotta make time!

Reading This Week

So I'm making some pretty good progress with my Halloween Challenge, at least I'd like to think so! Haha. Of all the books I've read so far I think Suspicion was my favorite even if the ending was super freakin iffy and sort of made no sense at all. I actually finished The Vines this morning and while it was interesting in terms of the history I wasn't too impressed with the characters.

I've been meaning to read Between The Devil and The Deep Blue Sea for awhile now and I keep putting it off so I figured now or never, basically. There are still a few books I was hoping to finish before October ends but I'm not sure how that's going to work out since it's already the 27th, I may continue on into next month... if I can find time between homework, work and NaNoWriMo. NaNoWriMo being the more demanding of them all lol!

What are you reading this week?

It's Monday, what are you reading? Is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at One Persons Journey Through a World of Books!

What I read last week:

  • The Swan Kingdom by Zoe Marriott

What I'm reading this week:

  • Other by Karen Kincy
  • The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
  • Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
  • Seriously, who knows what else I'll end up reading this week lol

Haha. I always think it's funny when I finish a book that I didn't intend on reading. I'm still itching to start Butterfly but since my husband's been over, I haven't had time to pick that one  up from my room yet. Other is off to a slow my intriguing start. Which gives me a really tug and pull feeling. Only finished one book this week but I did meet my husband's request at 5 books a month, so I'm good... though I myself do not feel satisfied lol. I can't help it if I happen to like pushing myself! I'll be starting movie reviews today, I'm sort of excited :D

So what are you reading this week?

It's Monday, what are you reading? Is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at One Persons Journey Through a World of Books!

What I read last week:

  • Cabin Fever by Alisha Rai
  • Tyger Tyger by Kersten Hamilton
  • Wake by Lisa McMann

What I'm reading this week:

  • Generation Dead by Daniel Waters
  • Sea Change by Aimee Friedman
  • Butterfly by Sonya Hartnett
  • Leaving Paradise by Simone Elkeles (at least I hope to read this)

Okay, so it's not Monday, it's Tuesday. I was debating not posting this but I figured I might as well to keep track of everything besides, it's just a day late... it's not like it's Friday or anything! So I'm reading Generation Dead and well, I kinda don't like it. I mean, I just started but the idea is weird. It's a great concept but just weird to settle with I guess. I'm going to try to finish Sea Change for my Summer Reading Challenge this week. And can I just quickly say... I LOVED Tyger Tyger! I finished it in less than 24 hours. It was amazing.

ALSO!

Do any of you know a good stat counter that's free? Mine is maxed out and I don't really want to pay to upgrade it. I don't know how to use Google Analysis or whatever it is either... I tried installing/signing up for it but for some reason it just won't work.

What I read last week:
  • Veiled Desire by Alisha Rai
  • Veiled Seduction by Alisha Rai

What I'm reading this week:
  • The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephanie Meyer
  • Everlasting by Angie Fraizer

I didn't finish that many books last week because my husband has been staying over since my dad's on vacation (and has requested that my husband stay over and keep me company). We don't live together, which might sound weird, but we recently just got married and well, the military didn't work out so.... it resulted in us not living together at the moment (if that makes sense).

I know I should be reading books I have to review, and I have a few that I need to, but I always end up picking up another book lol. Bad habit! But hey, I'm still new to this books-for-review thing!

It's Monday, what are you reading? Is a weekly meme hosted by bookjourney!

What I read last week:
  • Dreamland by Sarah Dessen
  • Low Red Moon by Ivy Devlin

What I'm reading this week:
  • Everlasting by Angie Frazier
  • Take a Chance on Me by Jill Mansell
I met my goal of reading 2 books this passed week, even though the second book wasn't what I had in mind... but it is a book I had for review, so as long as it was for review, it's still okay. I'm debating on if I should finish up Everlasting (which feels like it's taking forever for me to get through) or if I should start The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner this week. I have so many books to read! I'm still in my rut haha, oh man... I'm hoping I snap out of this soon so you don't have to hear me say it every week! I'm pretty sure it's the sudden change in weather, and the heat. It doesn't get this hot around here usually so it's hard for husband and I to deal with it. Especially since we don't have AC because again, it usually doesn't get this hot! Hmm, I wonder if I should push myself for 3 books this week... maybe. Maybe not, I want to finish more books that's up for review... we'll see :)

It's Monday, what are you reading? Is a weekly meme hosted by bookjourney!

What I read last week:

  • Spells by Aprilynne Pike
  • Naughty Little Secret by Shayla Black
  • Forgive My Fins by Tera Lynn Childs
  • Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles

What I'm reading this week:

  • Dreamland by Sarah Dessen
  • Zan-Gah by Allen Richard Shickman
I'm having a slow reading week, the sudden summer heat is making me lazy and causing me to sleep earlier making no extra time for reading... don't you hate that?! So I'm going to give myself two books to finish this week and not overload and disappoint myself!

I still desperately need to catch up on reviews... and my school final, which is due in like 15 hours lol! I pre-ordered a bunch of exciting new books from Amazon which is taking forever to get here. And my Kindle! Ah! I'm feeling super impatient lol.

So, what are you reading this week?

What I read last week:

  • Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
  • The Mermaid's Mirror by L.K. Madigan

What I'm reading this week:

  • Forgive My Fins by Terra Lynn Childs
  • The Iron King by Juile Kagawa
  • Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles

Darn. I thought I had finished more this week...! At least I finished The Mermaid's Mirror. A week left in the month... I don't think I'll hit my goal of 10 books read this month. Then again school has been really tough this month... at least the community college is almost over! Darn University of Phoenix for not believing in breaks!

It's Monday, what are you reading? Is a weekly meme hosted by bookjourney!

What I read last week:

  • Wings by Aprilynne Pike (review)
  • Bound and Determined by Shayla Black

What I'm reading this week:

  • The Mermaid's Mirror by L.K. Madigan
  • Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
  • Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen (maybe, I want to!)

I'm waiting on doing a review for Bound and Determined, it was such a great read I don't even know where to start (but I should soon before I forget the story lol). I'm still working on reading The Mermaid's Mirror, it's getting really interesting now, but still a hassle that I have to read it through an e-reader on my PC, I'll get use to it eventually. It's just... so weird lol. I'm struggling through Ink Exchange, this series is just so intense. I find myself holding my breath when I read this series scared of what's going to happen next! But I guess that's a good thing, right? And I'm really tempted to start on Lock and Key because I'm itching to read another Sarah Dessen book!

I'm waiting on Spells to get here so I can wrap up the series for that. I'm going to avoid starting more series when I've already started Wings and Wicked Lovely. No need to pack on more than I need to, right?

It's Monday what are you reading? Is a weekly meme hosted by bookjourney!

What I read last week:

What I'm reading this week:
Did the review for Secret Ties and This Lullaby yay for being caught up on my reviews! Reading The Mermaid's Mirror and I'm super excited about it but the only thing that sucks is that it's an e-reader ARC, and I don't have an e-reader so I'm stuck reading it on my PC. Which is a hassle cause I mean, I get distracted too easily on my PC. So for a slight moment I thought I wanted a Kindle, whew, good thing that moment's over! Haha. I might actually really want an e-reader though. Some day. But it won't stop me from buying actual books. I'll never stop buying actual books.

I haven't decided on what else to read. I'm having a hard time finishing Eyes Like Stars. So it's between Wings or Ink Exchange. I was thinking of reading Need or Divine by Mistake but I don't really want to start a new series... I'm really itching to read another Sarah Dessen novel to be honest :) but I do want to catch up with the Wicked Lovely series as well. *sigh so many choices!

Does anyone else ever feel like this? Please don't tell me I'm the only one!

Also!! I'm working on a novel... if I post a piece of it, would you guys be willing to give me honest advice? I'm pretty insecure about my writing but I'd like to know what you guys think!

What I read last week:

What I'm reading this week:

Behind on my review for Bound to Please, I actually completely forgot about it. Trying to get through Eyes Like Stars. I guess all faerie type books start off really way confusing (at least to me). Half way done with Secret Ties and I already want to write a review cause this book is predictable as hell. I'm not really a fan of it and the cover is a bit misleading.

I'm having a slow few weeks (I only finished one book last week *sigh), school is kicking my butt and since it's so close to summer vacation my brain is taking an early leave. Ughhh, the bad part is, I go to two colleges and the main one doesn't have a summer vacation. It's year round so I can't really let my brain take a leave because I'm still currently in class. Lame lame lame! Sorry in advanced if I seem out of whack for the next few weeks!

I am however excited for all my new books coming in this week! I also ordered a new webcam I've had my eyes on yesterday. I am super excited about that! It's gonna be great! Can't wait to see the quality and my new videos! Whoohoo!

Speaking of... are you following my youtube and twitter?

What I'm reading this week:

Almost done with Bound to Please, might read Eyes Like Stars next. It's between that or Ink Exchange. I need more erotica in my collection lol. Taking a break from the Sweep series for a bit. Gonna catch up on my other books and come back to finish the Sweep series. I'm excited I'm going to hit 8 read books this month, whoohoo! I'm aiming for 16 next month! I know, unrealistic right? Okay, maybe I'll just hit for 8 again next month :)

What I read last week:

What I'm reading this week:

Yes, I finally finished reading Sweep: Strife! Goodness, took long enough, didn't it? I should probably read Sweep: Seeker tonight. I know the series changes in the 11th book Origins. Might as well wrap up the Morgan/Hunter story. Still debating on how I should write a review for these... one by one or as a whole series??

I enjoyed Wicked Lovely, I finished it a few hours ago. Now I'm obsessed with buying Faerie related books! I've been surfing Amazon for some lol. I'm also itching to get the rest of the series! I'm going to take my time in writing the review for it, there's a lot of factor in that I know I'll forget if I just spit out a review.

Bloom is not one of my favorite Elizabeth Scott reads, just sayin! Started reading some of Sickened. I haven't even hit page 100 yet and this book is making me so angry. Seriously, her mom is crazy! She's just. OMG. How the hell... man, I don't know. Just horrible!

With that said...

It's Monday, what are you reading? Is a weekly meme hosted by bookjourney posted every Monday.

What I read last week:

What I'm reading this week:

Goodness, it's not posting my link/images anymore!

Yes, Strife is still going strong! But the good news is, I'm half way done with it, yay! It's my "when I'm out" book so that's why it's taking me so long to get through it. I'm going to be starting Crazy Love tonight. It's going to be hard to transition from something as intense and sensual as Dare to Surrender to something about abusive relationships. Talk about a roller coaster weekend! Maybe I should group my books by similarities and avoid roller coastering myself lol.

I have to admit, I think Dare to Surrender might just be my favorite book of the week/month/year! I wish she'd write more about Joy and Ash. As much as I'd like to move on to Bound To Please, I didn't feel a strong connection with Ruby in Dare to Surrender, she just didn't seem like my type of person.

Also, is it just me or is there a meme for every day of the week? lol.

What I'm reading this week:

I finally finished Stealing Heaven at like, 3AM this morning! It was such a good book. I enjoyed it! I can't wait to write a review! I also need to finish Sweep #9 Strife already! I've been "reading" it since I finished #8 in December! I wanna get to #11 when the story changes!

Goodness, I've tried posting this 5 times! It's not showing the thumbnail picture =(.

Sheila from BookJourney hosts this book-thingie (goodness I really need to find out what these are called!) every Monday.

What I read last week:

What I'm reading this week:

The reason why I have these up are because I'm currently in the Amazon Associates program! I usually buy all my books from amazon.com simply because its much easier to find what I'm looking for and I'm OCD (literally) and I have a problem when there's only one book of the one I'm looking for left (but you know, that's a whole different blog/entry on its own)!

I don't really know how the Amazon Associate program works yet, I just signed up not too long ago. But if you have experience with it or anything please feel free to contact me. As I have no idea what I'm doing lol.

Also! I have a question!

Do you read one book at a time or do you usually read multiple books at a time?

I always wonder how people finish so many books so quickly. I usually read one book at a time but recently I started reading two (one for at home and one for when I'm out).
