Athena the Brain (Goddess Girls)Goddess Girls: Athena The Brain by Joan Holub, Suzanne Williams

Summary (amazon):
Everything changes for 12-year-old Athena the day she is summoned from Earth to Mount Olympus by none other than her (surprise!) dad, Zeus. She enrolls at Mount Olympus Academy, a place of godboys and goddessgirls, where classes like Hero-ology, Spell-ology, and Beauty-ology complete a proper goddess education. Jealous Medusa tries to sabotage Athena, but quick thinking and good friends help her prevail over the bitter girl with the weird hairdo.

Athena's called to attend Mount Olympus Academy by Zeus, who she finds out is her dad! It dawns on her that it could be possible she's a goddess, she's always been smarter than her friends here on Earth... so the day arrives when she leaves her best friend (who she's been living with all her life since she had no clue who her parents were) and the flight to Mount Olympus is a bumpy one. Everyone's so... different there.

She quickly makes friends with Aphrodite and her group of friends and quickly makes enemies with Medusa and her group of sisters. Then there's Poseidon, the cutest guy in school... who walks around with a trident and you could hear him from down the hall because of his squishy walking sound.

If you're a fan of Greek Mythology like I am, this is worth the read. It's a cute story about all your favorite gods and goddesses and what might it be like if you stuck them in a school. I can already tell the Goddess Girls series is going to be an enjoyable one!
