So, from the 26 books (so unrealistic but whatever lol) I had planned on reading for my Halloween Challenge this year I ended up reading 7. Wait what? I swear there was more than that! 2 that aren't part of that 7 I marked as DNF. But like I said, there are some titles I'm still looking forward to reading so I'll continue on for awhile longer into November. Though now I don't feel so bad for reading something other than ghost stories lol!

From one challenge to another...

This is my 4th year doing NaNoWriMo and I have yet to win. I'll be updating my word count here and probably here too.I'm hoping to at least get to 30k words this year. Maybe 25. No, 30. Let's go with 30. Even though I have nothing once again planned out for this year! I'm still debating on if I should finish an older project or start a new one. All I know is that I need to write. My summer was full of hurt, changes and betrayal and I need to pour those emotions into something else and be rid of them. I have these characters but I don't know what to do with them or where to put them or what is going to happen to them.

So here we go, another NaNoWriMo ahead and another Halloween Challenge behind!

Are you going to participate in NaNoWriMo this year?

In the month of October, I read eight books (huh, I thought I read eleven... weiiiird). I didn't do so well on my October Challenge this year as I had hoped to. But then again I always make an unrealistic list, don't I? There's no way I'd be able to read more than 8-10 books a month lol.

So the books I read in October were

  • Some Quiet Place by Kelsey Sutton*
  • A Little Too Far by Lisa Desrochers
  • One Night with her Best Friend by Noelle Adams
  • After Eden by Helen Douglas
  • The Nightmare Affair by Mindee Arnett
  • Hysteria by Megan Miranda
  • Intertwined (Intertwined #1) by Gena Showalters
  • Definitely, Maybe in Love by Ophelia London

I posted 13 times and posted 5 reviews.

Not too bad :P

I have some exciting things lined up for November. Well a few exciting things. Well one might be exciting thing. Wow that went downhill fast lol.

After 3 years of The Wicked Witch of the West gracing my blog with her... melting face, I've decided to finally change my blog layout. I know, I know. I need a fresh new look around here and even though I hate to get rid of the witch --- it's just time to. It's been time to actually lol.

I don't have a theme going on for November; just keep reading and try to win NaNoWriMo this year. Yes! I'm participating in NaNoWriMo, again and I think after the 4th year, I should probably really aim to win this time. Yes? Yes. So if you're interested in enduring my troubles with me follow my blog here and I might be making vlogs here weekly.... if I remember.

Anyone else doing NaNoWriMo this year?

I'm sure as most of you heard about NaNoWriMo by now! I'm participating for the first time this year and I've successfully talked my husband into joining too. Whoohoo! But considering how much of a gamer he is and that he just started playing Fall Out: New Vegas, we'll see how that goes.

I'm not really sure what my novel is really going to be about just yet. I mean, I have an idea but I don't know where it's going to go or how it's going to end and I haven't made an outline because I don't know what exactly an outline is suppose to look like... so, we'll see how this goes too lol.

I'll be keeping track of my progress (or lack of) on my personal blog here. And if you're joining in too, add me here.

Ahhh! I'm nervous. I don't know if I can nail 50,000 words in 30 days. I'm pretty excited too! :)
