In my opinion, this erotica novel was different than any other that I've read. It didn't have much of an "introduction" and it didn't spend much time building up to the story. But it didn't make it any less good! Just as a fair warning, it's a little spoiler-ish, but I think the summary gives it away anyway :)

Lauren has been divorced for two years and is now working for her ex-husbands best friend, Noah. She recieves a note on her desk from a secret admirier promising to maker her fantasies come true.

The book switches off from Lauren's point of view to Noah's. I personally think the intentions behind his actions as Mr. Mysterious were cute and sweet (in an erotic kind of way) but I would honestly be confused and creeped out if it had happened to me. It was obvious Mr. Mysterious knew her, knew his way around her house and the fact that he sounded familiar should had set things off a bit. I liked who Noah was when he wasn't Mr. Mysterious and how he tried to get Lauren to open her eyes. I admit, I was frustrated towards the end with the way Lauren acted towards Noah, it didn't make much sense. Besides the fact that since her divorce she was now bitter about the idea of "forever" and "love". But if she had known that her husband didn't really care for her all those years, what's there to really be bitter about? I loved the parts of the book where they'd share memories together, it was like being the same room as them while they were reminicing. And their memories were adorable.

Like I said, there wasn't much of an "introduction", it kinda just jumped right into their everyday lives, which made me feel like a huge part of the story was missing. But as you go on, it starts to not matter so much. For an erotica, this was a really cute and fast read.

  1. Thanks for paying me a visit today and saying kind words. I stopped by to check you out and I like your site. I'm looking forward to your reviews.

I know what you mean about not feeling like posting reviews. I just want to read all the books I bought for my own reading pleasure and not have to think about writing a review.

Unfortunately, my own personal stash is still waiting for me to get time to take them out of the bag from the store!
